RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156 PROVIDES
the National Board may take immediate action ONLY IF
    section 156(1) of the National Law (Qld) applies AND
    section 156(2) of the National Law (Qld) does not apply AND
    section 157 of the National Law (Qld) has been complied with

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1) PROVIDES
section 156(1) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the subject is registered in a health profession for which the 
                                      National Board was established AND
    the subject is a registered practioner AND/OR
    the subject is a registered student AND
    section 156(1)(a) of the National Law (Qld) applies AND/OR
    section 156(1)(b) of the National Law (Qld) applies AND/OR
    section 156(1)(c) of the National Law (Qld) applies AND/OR
    section 156(1)(d) of the National Law (Qld) applies AND/OR
    section 156(1)(e) of the National Law (Qld) applies

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(a) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(a) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the subject is a registered practioner AND
    section 156(1)(a)(i) of the National Law (Qld) applies AND
    section 156(1)(a)(ii) of the National Law (Qld) applies

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(a)(i) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(a)(i) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the Board has a reasonable belief that the subject poses a serious risk 
        to persons because of their conduct, performance or health

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(a)(ii) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(a)(ii) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the Board has a reasonable belief that it is necessary to take immediate action 
        to protect public health or safety

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(b) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(b) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the subject is a registered student AND
    section 156(1)(b)(i) of the National Law (Qld) applies AND
    section 156(1)(b)(ii) of the National Law (Qld) applies

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(b)(i) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(b)(i) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    section 156(1)(b)(i)(A) of the National Law (Qld) applies OR
    section 156(1)(b)(i)(B) of the National Law (Qld) applies OR
    section 156(1)(b)(i)(C) of the National Law (Qld) applies

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(b)(i)(A) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(b)(i)(A) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the Board has a reasonable belief that 
    the subject poses a serious risk to persons because the subject
    has been charged with an offence, or has been convicted or found 
    guilty of an offence, that is punishable by 12 months imprisonment or more

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(b)(i)(B) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(b)(i)(B) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the Board has a reasonable belief that 
    the subject poses a serious risk to persons because the subject
        has, or may have, an impairment

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(b)(i)(C) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(b)(i)(C) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the Board has a reasonable belief that 
    the subject poses a serious risk to persons because the student
    has, or may have, contravened a condition of the student’s registration 
    or an undertaking given by the subject to a National Board

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(b)(ii) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(b)(ii) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the Board has a reasonable belief that it is necessary to take immediate action 
        to protect public health or safety

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(c) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(c) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    the subject is a registered practioner AND
    registration was improperly obtained because the subject or someone 
        else gave the National Board information or a document that was false 
            or misleading in a material particular

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(d) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(d) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
    registration has been cancelled or suspended under the law of a 
           a non-participating Australian or international jurisdiction 

RULE National Law (Qld) Section 156(1)(e) PROVIDES
section 156(1)(e) of the National Law (Qld) applies ONLY IF
   the National Board has a reasonable belief that immediate action is otherwise in the public interest.

RULE Registered Practitioners PROVIDES
    IF the subject is a registered practioner THEN
        the subject is not a registered student

RULE Registered Students PROVIDES
    IF the subject is a registered student THEN
        the subject is not a registered practitioner
